CHRISLMA IN WASTELAND

Episode One:
The Return of Chrexis

You know those old stories, those old tales that lay abandoned on the bottom of the drawer in your desk?

Do you know what happens to those characters left all alone… their tales unfinished?

One little Hylian was about to discover the truth… because of a simple zip-drive.

(^-^)

Chrislma lay there watching the sky in the field, daydreaming for a bit before she finally snapped to attention and sat up. Her auburn hair was kept in a pigtail look, her Hylian ears twitching as she heard a distant hum of machinery. Her light blue dress was complimented by her pink fingerless gloves, pink bandanna tied around her neck, and her little pink shoes.

Her ears twitched once more. "What is that?"

She stood up and looked around curiously, before approaching a rather random hill.

Approaching slowly, and cautiously, Chrislma finally stopped, and stared at an opening in the hill of grass.

A voice suddenly piped, ""Chrislma, what are you doing?"

Chrislma turned around to see someone that she knew very well: her twin brother, Elijah.

For a twin, Elijah didn't look very much like her. With bandages covering his blind eyes, and his green hair very floppy and messy, he seemed sort of out of place next to his auburn haired sister. He wore a long purple robe over a blue shirt and light blue pants, the whole outfit finished with navy boots.

"I'm tracking down an interesting sound," she told her brother, and the two began their journey.

They eventually found themselves before a dark cave, and Chrislma gulped at the sight of it. The sound, however, was emanating from it, so the two entered with as much bravery as they could muster. Through the long tunnel and down a very suspicious set of wooden steps, the two eventually reached a wooden door and went through it.

Standing in the middle of the room was a wonderful pedestal of stone that suspiciously looked somewhat like Axann's computer and monitor stacked on top of each other. At the base of the computer part, placed in front of the monitor of stone, was something that appeared to be a three inch tall zip drive. Chrislma eyed it with curiousity, as her brother looked around even though he knew it was pointless. He faced her and gave a frown.

"Maybe we should go," was all he said.

"Look at this! What is it?" she asked Elijah with a smile, eying the zip drive.

"Don't touch it," Elijah ordered, pointing at her menacingly.

Chrislma poked it.

The zip drive immediately cracked, causing her to panic. Images appeared on the screen, viewing a village and a castle, some people that Chrislma didn't know, the X.A.N.A. symbol, and the symbol of the Heartless, and even something to do with a bell.

Panicking, she eyed the monitor, and watched in vain as the images began to disappear. The monitor of stone then showed static, and nothing but. A voice came from somewhere beyond  the cave and the twins decided to high-tail it out of there.

Chrislma never returned to that cave. Not until a year later.

(A year later…)

Chrislma slept very peacefully in her bed, snoozing lightly as she dreamed of sugar plums and candy canes even though it was summer. Her pet Shaymin slept by her side, also snoozing lightly and dreaming of poffins and PokéBlocks. The two rolled over at the same time and made the same sighing sound before rolling over again and then drooling a little.

Like owner, like pet.

Okay, so something serious happened outside of Chrislma's window apparently. Something blew up, causing her to wake up and jolt upright, startling Shaymin and causing her to yelp in surprise.

Shaymin looked up at her trainer. "Is something wrong, Chrislma?"

"My Hylian sense is tingling!" she announced, getting out of her bed and looking out her window.

Something was moving around the village of Seiamaesh, bearing what appeared to be a…

...a Keyblade?

Chrislma's eyes widened and she quickly got dressed. Rushing out the door with Shaymin at her heels, she put on her pink shoes and rushed out the front door, hoping that she didn't wake Axann.

Standing there before her was something evil... she could tell.

A man stood there before, with dirty blonde hair and deep eyes, wearing a long cloak of black. A Keyblade of indescribable proportions was held tightly in his hand.

For everyone, this was Chrexis. Keyblade master, the last time he was ever heard from… he had betrayed his friends and became evil in order to become more powerful.

Chrislma didn't recall any of this information as she stood  there before him.

"Um… can I help you?" Chrislma stuttered.

"You are Chrislma?" he asked with a light, menacing tone.

"Yes..."

"Then you are to come with me," he announced. Chrexis grabbed Chrislma and dragged her away from Seiamaesh, Shaymin following with a panicked run.

He led them back to that cave, down the suspicious wooden steps, and then before the stone monitor, the screen still showing the static.

He tossed Chrislma into the monitor, where she quickly was digitized classic TRON style and put into the system. Chrexis soon followed.

Panicking, Shaymin pondered what to do before deciding to follow.

(###)

Screaming, Chrislma fell through the sky, watching as a village neared closer and closer toward her. She watched helplessly as she neared closer and closer…

Only to be stopped by a flying bike.

"Welcome to Wasteland!" exclaimed a female voice.
Every chapter shall be topped with a picture of Mallymkun, Shaymin, Ponyo, or Sosuke...

... Because Chrislma wanted that.

Anywho, the opening, Ladies and Gentlemen everywhere! Not much to say, but...

*claps* Well, sorry for being late...
Hm, so what verse is this in? Seems to spread itself across quite a few haha -

There isn't any explanation here of what a Keyblade is - or what exactly does it do - so I'm a little confused - but other than that, I'd like to see where this goes. Too many dead and mutilated stories on my hands, heh.

Keep it up!
